About Dr. Cox Dr. Cox has been providing dental care to Richmond area residents since 1976. He has been doing "smile makeovers" since 1991. Dr. Cox earned his undergraduate degree at Emory and Henry College and his dental degree at the Medical College of Virginia. Annually attending continuing education courses enables Dr. Cox to stay at the forefront of their specialty so that they can provide optimal care to their patients, offering their patiens the finest cosmetic, periodontal, and latest computer technology so that the most current treatment options are available to their patients. Dr. Cox averages over 50 hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Cox is dedicated to serving the local community. He lectures yearly at various symposia and donates to Little Sisters of the Poor Home where he is also the dentist on staff for free,  he contirbutes to St. Judes Research Hospital, Habitat for Humanity house construction, providing transportation for transplant patients through Angel Flight, and being on the board of Lifespring Foundation (dedicated to providing children with after school activities). Dr. Cox is married and has nine grandchildren.
